Coated Label Papers

As well established suppliers of speciality face stocks to the roll label industry and specialist printers, we offer coated products suitable for a wide range of printing applications, including ink jet, laser, thermal transfer, litho and flexo printing.

Label face stocks are available in a range of fluorescent, metallic and satin shades (see below). Other specialist coatings include high opacity back coatings (see below), primer and barrier.

Water activated gum and Heat Seal labels also form part of our product portfolio. Additionally a range of security features can be incorporated into label stocks (see security papers section).

Fluorescent & Matt Coated Face Papers

We offer a range of high quality, fluorescent and matt colour coated papers designed for self-adhesive lamination for labelling applications.

Our face papers display the following characteristics:

  • Bold fluorescent and subtle matt colours, available in a variety of standard shades.
  • Run efficiently on a wide range of laminating machines providing cost effectiveness for customers.
  • Suitable for thermal transfer, ink jet, laser, litho, flexo, letterpress and gravure printing.
  • Highly effective in price marking guns
  • Variety of coating widths available
Standard fluorescent colours: Yellow, Red, Green, Orange, Pink
Standard weight: 80gsm

Standard matt colours: Green, Yellow, Blue, Red, Cream, Black
Standard weight: 83 gsm

High Opacity Back Coatings

A range of high opacity reverse coatings suitable for lamination for labelling applications.

Our opaque reverse coatings display the following characteristics:
  • High opacity reverse coatings allow the face paper, once converted, to be used for a wide range of re-labelling functions as the high opacity coating masks any printing underneath.
  • Laminators who currently manufacture a similar product by tinting the adhesive, can save valuable machine time and avoid contamination within the coating process.
  • Opaque coated labels can be produced on numerous laminating machines, utilising various types of adhesives.
  • Opaque coating can be applied if required to
  • Customers' own base paper, subject to approval.
