Tullis Russell Coaters reduces its carbon footprint by 17% in 12 months

The UK manufacturing site at Bollington in Cheshire has had it 2nd annual carbon footprint assessment undertaken by Groundwork Ltd for the financial year of 08/09.

The assessment covered the direct impacts, which are within the control of the business such as energy use, waste generation, water use and wastewater discharge to sewer, plus employee travel by road and air.

The total carbon footprint for the company was 3,652.66 tonnes, which is a 17% reduction based on the previous year’s assessment

The company intends to continually improve on it environmental performance by following the core principles of reduce, reuse and recycle at all our business operations.

We will continue measure our carbon footprint annually and report our carbon footprint results with authenticity and transparency.
