Tullis Russell Coaters invests in a site access control system.

The UK manufacturing site at Bollington in Cheshire has invested £40,000 on a new site access control system. The aim of the system is to prevent unauthorised access whilst providing minimum inconvenience to those who do have authorised access to our site.

The system is made up of pedestrian gates, turnstiles and traffic control barriers, all of which have been fitted with communication systems linked to the stores and reception with the addition of proximity card readers for employees.

The new access control system will complement our existing on site security measures being key coded doorway, full perimeter CCTV and off site monitoring and alarm. 

Our next aim is to become accredited against CWA15374:2005 Standard.  This is a Security Management certification scheme for security printers and their suppliers. The standard enables companies working within the security supply chain to implement the most efficient and secure management system and to certify their compliance to the standard through a precise auditing process.
